Jack and Jill are the two sibling children in the traditional and vastly renowned English nursery rhyme Jack and Jill that originated in the 18th century. The two children famously went up a hill in order to get a pail of water from a well, but unfortunately suffered a mishap on their way down.
Jack and Jill are an ordinary boy and girl doing their regular chores. They wear a short-sleeved button down shirt, casual long shorts, mid-calf socks, oxford shoes, and suspenders for Jack, and an elbow sleeve shirt, denim jumper shorts, knee high socks, and white sneakers for Jill.
About Jack and Jill
The earliest versions of the rhyme published in the mid 1700’s actually had the characters as Jack and Gill, and with a woodcut that showed two boys at the foot of a hill.
